Web Design… Questions we ask.

So you’d like to dive into web design (congratulations!). Here’s a sampling of the questions we’ll ask to get a better feel for your project:

1. What are your long term & short term goals in regard to your website?
2. What is the main business problem you hope to solve with this site design?
3. How will you measure the success of the solution?
4. Who is the ‘target market’ we are designing to attract?
5. What is the primary action the site visitor should take when coming to your site?
6. Why does the target audience choose your company’s products and/or services?
7. Use adjectives to describe how your visitor should perceive this site. (ex: Friendly, corporate, fun, forward thinking, cutting edge, etc.)
8. How does your company differentiate itself from competitors? If you have web addresses for your competitors, please list.
9. List any URLs for sites you find compelling. What do you like about these sites?
